Residents have dumped furniture in this spot again and it is a safety issue as it covers the fire safety equipment, also covers entrance to my flat. This is like the 5th time Im reporting it. Can we please put up a big sign to deter residents!!!!

Thank you for reporting this issue. Our environmental operative has reviewed the information and made an initial assessment that the issue falls outside the council's remit (for example, if the location is on private land). As a result, we have cancelled your report.

We recognise that the operative’s initial review may not have captured the full extent of the situation. If you disagree with this assessment and believe the council should deal with this issue, please email the details to wasteoperations@hackney.gov.uk. We will ensure the matter is escalated for a further investigation by a member of the team.

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
