Discharge of mud and cement into gutter/drain

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8551184.

Builders at no 24 regularly sweep mud and today cement down into the gutter which is now flowing into the gulley- daily occurence now with digging under the house. Gulley will become blocked when mud and cement settle

  • Gulley starting to block up- daily spillage of concrete from mobile concrete lorry

  • More cement discharged today with mud yesterday- gutter starting to clog with littersticking in cement slurry- it's been going on for over a month- so drains now have lots of slurry in them

  • Its now over 6 weeks since first reported It is illegal to discharge cement slurry into the gutter and drains - yet this continues to happen, along with mud today from grab lorry collecting from a front garden at no 28 and builders sweeping into the gutter.
