Every day, waste piles up around the bins instead of being properly disposed of, creating a mess and attracting pests. It seems this happens because there are no cameras or monitoring in the area, so people leave bags and bulky items without consequence.

  • Thank you for your report. This was forwarded to the cleansing team, who confirmed that the issue is on private land. As a result, we are unable to take any action. However, the matter has been passed on to FirstPoint Property Services, who manages the area. We also forwarded this onto the Education and Enforcement Team who investigate residential and commercial waste issues, such as inappropriate storage of waste and bins. The team will look into this report and take the necessary action. For any updates, you can contact the team on behaviour.change@hackney.gov.uk.
