Dear sir madam I would like to bring this issue of antisocial behaviour and criminal activity to Hackney councils attention. Over the weekend a group of Irish travellers have moved, set up residency rent free in public mabley green park right next to the children's play area,football changing rooms. They have even brought with them their own roadwork fencing to cordon off a perimeter of land which belongs to Hackney Council.This is a public park for public people, residence to use. I am concerned because the travellers are driving their vehicles,vans onto the public mabley green park grass play area where children play. Irish travellers will be illegally parking, vehicles cloning,no tax, no insurance,no MOT,no permits, stealing vehicles, hiding vehicles identity, dumping unwanted vehicles on the land, shoplifting, fly tipping, benefit frauds, this is a common occurrence in the Hackney wick area with the large Irish communities. The caravan is also situated overlooking a children's play park. They are using large gas cylinders to cook which poses a health and safety fire concerned to building opposite and children's play area. If someone could be bothered at Hackney Council to investigate this matter.
