Updates

  • Canals are maintained by the Canal and River Trust, a charity. They are not public land.

As they are a charity, you might want to make a donation with a specification that it be used to provide bins.

  • I did post this on Instagram and tagged the Canal and River Trust. It's very sad for the wildlife to swim in all that rubbish.

  • I am a magnet fisherman on the Cowley Uxbridge stretch of the grand union and want to report a large amount if rubbish near the Tesco Cowley area. I always take what I remove away and dispose of correctly. So if a report that a white man with dreads was responsible I'd like to day it was not me.
