Dear Lesley,
Thank you for raising this with us.
As you're probably already aware, the bollard installed as part of the Low Traffic Neighbourhood (LTN) scheme at the junction of Clonbrock Road and Nevill Road is continually vandalised, resulting in its unauthorised removal.
To combat this, our Design and Engineering Team is currently arranging for the site to be monitored by CCTV cameras. The infrastructure for these cameras is currently being installed and we anticipate it should be operational within the next four weeks. This deterrent will help to discourage motorists from driving through the LTN. Any unauthorised vehicles captured driving through the LTN will be issued with a Fixed Penalty Notice.
I hope you find this information helpful.
Kind Regards, Paul.
