  • Dear resident,

    Thank you for contacting Hackney Council regarding the condition of Manor Road, N16, and for sharing your concerns about the condition of the carriageway. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

    We can confirm that resurfacing works have been proposed for the section of Manor Road between Royal Close and No. 70 Manor Road as part of this year’s Capital Planned Maintenance Programme, pending final internal approvals.

    Once these approvals are confirmed, our team will plan and schedule the works accordingly. In the meantime, our Highways Inspectors will continue to monitor the road and carry out repairs to any defects that require immediate attention to ensure the route remains safe for all users.
