Zebra crossing not safe

Reported by Chris Kimber at 19:57, Mon 16 November 2009

Sent to Hackney Council 3 minutes later

There is currently a zebra crossing across Lordship Park at the junction of Queen Elizabeth Road. The speed bumps on either side of it are insufficient to slow down traffic, resulting in a very dangerous crossing on a road where traffic tends to exceed the speed limit. Given the number of school children who use this crossing to get to the park and to school, it would make much more sense, and be much safer, if the zebra crossing was replaced with some kind of Pelican crossing.
