We are still waiting for a camera for the LTN

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7697867.

Despite camera signs at one end of the LTN no one is fooled, 12 cars and 7 mopeds used the junction in the last hour. There is one particular moped that speeds along Clonbrock Road at least twice a day, this is an accident waiting to happen.

  • Thank you for your report regarding Clonbrock Road.

    The Council has very recently reinstated the enforcement bollard. The area was filled with a concrete type substance, which led to a delay in installing the bollard. We are aware that there are incidents where the bollard has been removed in the past, so we are also enforcing using the mobile enforcement unit. Going forward, and subject to funding, we are seeking to install a static enforcement camera to prevent the occurrence of drivers using Clonbrock Road as a cut through.
