Abandoned litter bin

Reported via mobile in the Fly Tipping category anonymously at 13:47, Thursday 2 January 2025

Sent to Hackney Council 1 day, 1 hour, 30 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6921916.

The bin has been abandoned there for several months, possibly close to a year now. Not only is it attracting uncollected rubbish around the bin, but the uncollected waste inside is becoming a public health hazard. Please could you remove Asap! Thank you!

Updates

  • Category changed from ‘Other’ to ‘Overflowing Public Litter Bin’

  • Hello, this black bin is an ABANDONED RANDOM litter bin not a public bin. The category update is incorrect. Please also note the fly tipping and commutation of rubbish next to it. The bin itself needs to be REMOVED along with the rubbish next to it. Thanks!
