  • For the long term repair: https://www.thameswater.co.uk/ 16266.htm (all the council will do is forward to them).

    However, if the hole is large enough and deep enough for someone to be injure themselves by putting a foot down it, you should phone the problem in. My guess is that the council will respond equally fast to that. FMS basically uses email and can take days to be read, but sufficiently severe hole the pavement should be made safe within 24 hours, although final repair will always be up to Thames Water and could take much longer.
