Deep and wide depression in the road
Reported in the Potholes category by Michael Stevenson at 23:23, Mon 3 August 2015
Sent to Hackney Council 1 minute later
It's a large and deep depression in the south bound side of Albion road, next to the bus stop. -- It's quite dangerous for cyclists as they swerve around it into the middle of the lane. -- It has been 'fixed' many times (in fact I've reported it more than once). Each time the repair looks like a very amateur attempt and looks like it will not last. Months later it needs repair again. Please could someone fix it properly so that we do not have to keep reporting it every 6 months / year or so? Thanks.
Unfortunately there is a common belief amongst councils that a series of temporary, cold patch, repairs is cheaper than cut out and hot patch, especially on busy roads. Six months is a reasonable expected lifetime for a temporary repair. I think the repairs are working as intended.

It seems like it has been fixed properly this time (ie so it might last a bit longer)
