Homeless person camping in a tent

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6578750.

A homeless person is camping on Well Street. He is using the telephone box as a toilet. Causing litter and has a stolen Santander bike on the pavement. Needs to be moved on and site cleansed urgently.

  • The person is still camping here. The site is a hazard. I understand that the person does not want to engage, but in that case, can you remove the tent and rubbish. Also clean the area as its being used as a toilet.

  • The person is still camping on Well Street and nothing has been done to clear the site for 3 months now. The site is right by a primary school & is an environmental hazard.

  • This issue is still not resolved. The problem is right outside a primary school entrance and the mess and filth is just getting worse.

    I was advised that the homeless person does not want to engage with you so please pass this to enforcement to clear this site and give it a thorough deep clean.

    This has been a problem for 4 months without any action to resolve it.
