Loose man hole cover

The man hole cover is loose and it is right outside our window. my husband has reported the problem to hackney council and they were helpful but said it is Thames Waters and they should come to fix it. it has now been over a week and both my husband and I are kept awake at night/woken up early morning because of the loud noise it makes when vehicles drive over it. We live on a very busy main road so you can imagine it's pretty constant. The man hole is on the crossroads between Stamford Hill, manor road and Belfast road. It's driving us a bit crazy!
