No space to park even though I pay money to park on the road there is cars parked taking advantage of the free parking at certain time

  • The councils records show that the current level of permit parking stress is at 61% therefore there should be sufficient parking availability during the operational hours of the zone. As you state the difficulty with parking is when there are vehicles parking taking advantage of the periods of free parking I have to assume that by this you mean that the problem exists during the uncontrolled hours. If this is the case, these vehicles are entitled to park on the road. Should you have any other questions or comments please email consultation.parking@hackney.gov.uk
