Big hole in pavement

A pavement slab has collapsed into a hole that's appeared beneath it. It's right in the middle of the pavement and could injure someone seriously.

  • That looks deep enough to be urgent. FixMyStreet isn't suitable for urgent reports as councils tend to read textual reports as a low priority, only when they are not busy on the phone, so it can, sometimes, take days before they get read.

    On the other hand, I think this will be classed as the sort of fault that needs making safe (boarding over or fencing off) the same day.

    I'd advise you to phone this one in.
