  • These trees were planted at either end of the green space to retain uninterrupted grass in between. They do not prevent access. We are aware of parents playing football with the young children in this area, and we don't believe this is affected. Hackney has declared a climate emergency and trees are an essential part of our response to this: alongside many other benefits trees help to cool the city during the summer, which will make the green area more usable during that time.
