Dangerous to Cyclists from Cars and Parking

Reported via desktop anonymously at 16:10, Monday 20 November 2023

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5233847.

Many potholes on Mount Pleasant. Years! Also, parking on both sides of the road allows only a narrow pathway, especially when you are attempting to avoid uneven surfaces. Today, a Land Rover drove at me – this is a common occurance here. Note: danger!

Updates

  • Update: the whole of Mount Pleasant Lane between Warwick Grove and Mount Pleasant Hill is rutted with potholes and missing tarmac, providing an uneven stretch to cycle on; this has been the state for several years; the whole surface needs to be redone
