Dangerous junction for cyclists

Reported in the Road or pavement defect category anonymously at 10:27, Thu 14 August 2014

Sent to Hackney 3 minutes later

I travel north/south along Pitfield Street on my bike daily. Every other day a vehicle will not give way at the junction (shown highlighted) traveling east/west along Hyde Road and Hoxton Street. This junction will put me in hospital as drivers simply disregard the give way lines and charge across the junction. Often, I see them look at me and still pull out completely disregarding the road rules and my own personal safety. They would rather risk putting me in hospital than actually waiting until the road is safe for them to cross. Please investigate this junction and how to make it safer. Traffic lights or a stop sign would be a start.
