A scooter has been left parked on a yellow line for about 2 weeks on Allerton Road, opposite number 73. It has been abandoned.

  • What's the evidence that it has been abandoned? At two weeks, I think most councils will assume the owner is just on holiday. Even if they do consider it abandoned, it will take longer than that to exhaust the process of trying to get the owner to remove it. The exception might be if it is a complete write off.

    On the other hand, if it is causing a danger, or obstruction, the police do have powers to act.

    All the authorities will normally need make, model, and registration number.

    It's been illegally parked on a yellow line for 2 weeks.
