Two abandoned wheelie bins

Reported via desktop anonymously at 11:37, Thursday 13 July 2023

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4782649.

Two abandoned wheelie bins have been dumped near the junction of Penshurst Road and Ellesmere Road. They have been there unclaimed or several days.

Updates

  • The wheelie bins which I reported last week, have now been joined by a large rusting contraption which I believe may have been a home made barbecue (although I cannot be sure). This corner, at the junction of Penshurst road and Ellesmere road, has become a magnet for fly tippers.

  • I reported these dumped wheelie bins on 13/7/2023, i.e. 9 days ago. They are still there and have been joined by the white shelving in the background. What has happened to this service? fly tipping used to be cleared on the same day. It is now absolutely hopeless.
