Bollard missing again

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4479084.

The bollard has again gone missing a few weeks ago. It lasted a couple of days, but there was no padlock on it. The cars that race this shortcut are worst at night, but there’s also an issue with mopeds using this shortcut. We need the fixed camera ASAP

  • Thank you for reporting the missing bollard on Salcombe Road.

    The most appropriate method of enforcement at this location would be a fixed camera as you suggested, however, the lead in time for an enforcement camera can be considerable and are highly in demand.

    As an interim measure, we have requested the Council's Parking Enforcement Team to increase their presence at this location using a mobile camera until a fixed camera can be obtained.

    We hope that this will provide a lasting solution to this problem.
