No yellow box

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 4446112.

To assist with traffic at this junction there should be a yellow box. The traffic going towards Victoria Park backs up towards the A12 which then blocks people coming from Hackney Marshes direction.

Also the traffic sequences should be traffic based

  • Thank you for your report concerning your request for a yellow box junction to be placed at the East Way/Eastern Avenue junction.

    We will request that one of my offers assess the junction which includes assessing the vehicle flows, collisions and geometry of the junction.

    The findings will then be used to determine whether this location is appropriate for a yellow box to be introduced.

    We anticipate that the assessment will be conducted later on in the year.
