Litter explosion

Reported via desktop in the Littering category anonymously at 07:53, Wed 9 November 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

Presumably a bin bag has been torn apart and the contents sprayed about - by the recycling bins. I swept it up a bit. It tends to get messy around here - I wonder if there is anything that can be done in a longer term way?

  • Hi thanks for cleaning up the other day. But as per previous this appears to be a long term fly-tipping problem. People - perhaps mostly from student accommodation? - are using space next to recycling bins to dump domestic rubbish. What is the solution? Do we need a serious domestic rubbish container? This cannot continue! Every day this week it's been terrible.
