Potholes / broken road surface after padestrian crossing
Reported in the Potholes category anonymously at 09:53, Mon 15 December 2008
Sent to Hackney Council 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 37180.
The road surface here has large chunks missing and is dangerous to cyclists. This is in the right hand lane of the North Bound carriageway of Green Lanes just after the pedestrian crossing at Rowley Gardens.
In addition, there is a sunken manhole cover (approx 1 ft square) between the North and South bound carriageways that could cause accidents to cyclists.
Other potholes in this area have recently been fixed and I'm surprised that the area north of the lights was not fixed at the same time (http://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 31217)

The road has not been repaired since the above report last December. Please rectify! This position is on the border of Hackney & Harringay. Perhaps a note to both Councils.

The holes are now big enough to reveal the wiring for the crossing beneath the road surface.

This road surface remains shoddy. After 6 months since reporting it is about time this was put right!
