Benn street trees

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3699860.

Trees stay dry while they just let the water run out the side of the van into the drain! Terrible! I have seen this happen on 3 or 4 different occasions. I have video proof too.

  • Response from the Street Trees Department -I have spoken with our contractors and this is a location that they use to refill the bowsers before continuing with watering, as there is a water hydrant positioned there. It is not unusual for some overspill to occur, which would explain the water running out of the vehicle.
