Overflowing bins

Reported via desktop in the Overflowing bin category anonymously at 12:40, Tuesday 31 May 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

We moved in to our Willow St office in mid-April and since then the commercial bins seldom seem to be emptied, rubbish is overflowing and the street itself is covered in rubbish. It smells and looks awful. Thanks for your help

  • Waste collections have been missed on Willow St, leaving the bins often overflowing. I reported this yesterday and whilst the commercial waste team kindly organised a collection today, a lot of cardboard/ waste has been left behind. Who deals with this and when? The street has been very messy lately. Rubbish flying out of the overflowing bins on to the street. There are tissues, cigarette butts, food and more concerningly smashed beer bottles along the street. This street needs a frequent clean and inspection.
