Car violating no-entry sign to steal parking from other residents

Reported via desktop in the Illegal Parking category anonymously at 22:11, Tuesday 24 May 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

As the title suggests, this car has been frequently violating the no-entry sign at the top of the road in order to steal parking from others. As you can see, the car is parked facing the wrong way relative to the no-entry sign in the background. This has been going on for MONTHS.

  • Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for the information provided.

We can confirm Parking Enforcement attended the location on the 25th of May 2022, at 07:49.

Kindly note the location where the vehicle was seen parked falls under a red route zone, and we are unable to enforce on red routes- they are enforced by TFL. Please access the Transport for London's website (https://tfl.gov.uk/ modes/ driving/ red-routes/ contact-red-routes) if you wish to report the vehicle in question- the TFL will be able to further assist you. A follow-up visit has been arranged, and if the vehicle is seen illegally parking on an enforceable zone, it will be enforced accordingly- the feedback from the visit will be reviewed.

    Kind regards,

    Parking Enforcement
