Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

These black bin bags are left opposite house at number 10 to 16 sylvester path or outside the flats at 8 or the houses on Sylvester road, causing health and safety and access issues and are an eye sore. There is never a day that there is no rubbish left in these locations. Foxes rip them open at night and scatter rubbish. Dogs poo or pee on these. People walking by constantly add to the rubbish, throwing take away rubbish, beer cans etc bought on Mare street on top and in the flower planters, which makes the place look terrible. This has been ongoing for a years, but as summer approaches, this problem always gets much worse with food waste rotting and the smell. Most of the rubbish is dumped by residents of the rental properties in sylvester path and the top end of sylvester road closest to Mare street. These tenants very often have short leases and so are constantly changing. I am fed up of telling people where to put their rubbish and when to put out their recycling, especially as they are often rude or abusive in response. This should not be an issue so close to the town hall with hackney enforcement officers walking past daily and ignoring it. I have reported the problem several times to officers on the street who are not interested at all. It is a disgrace especially within a conservation area. The local environment is clearly not a priority for the Council as this is in your immediate vicinity. I should not have to report this or take photos as evidence as it is within 1 minute's walk from the Town hall and council offices. Tenants who litter and fly tip need to be educated and informed by the council, warned and fined or it will never improve.
