Lights on 24/7

Reported via desktop by Jack Reay at 21:25, Tue 3 May 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

The street lighting around the base of Chelsfield Point at the junction of Penshurst Rd and Banbury Rd are switched on 24 hours each day. I reported this on 16th December 2021, and again on 16th February and again on 29th March of this year. There are 14 lights in total. This is an appalling waste of electricity and taxpayers money. A timer was fitted to these lights a couple of years ago. Can someone tell me why this is not being used, please? If the timer is not working, surely the lights can be switched manually?
