Blackberry bush growing over fence into neighbours garden

Reported via mobile in the Shrub Pruning category anonymously at 11:01, Tuesday 3 May 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

The blackberry bush in the back garden of 182 Brooke Road has been left to overgrow passing property boundaries and growing wildly out of control.

It is growing over the fence, and into the guttering of the extension at 180 Brooke Road.

At the end of last summer, all the fruit from the bush littered the back garden of 180 Brooke Road, spreading even more seeds.

The owner at 180 Brooke raised this 5 times now over the last 7 months with the tenants at 182 Brooke Road but still nothing is done.

  • This is an issue between two private properties. Hackney Council is unable to interfere over issues as such, I am very sorry.
