Litter dumping

Reported via desktop in the Littering category anonymously at 14:01, Sunday 1 May 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

There has been recurring litter dumping on the corner of Kynaston and Neville Road: clothes, rubbish, and bags filled with leaves are left at this location. They remain there for many days and it is just outside the entrance to our house. Please can we arrange to remove the litter? We wonder if a sign needs to be installed saying 'No littering' and a fine imposed? Some of the bags look like they are hackney council bags. We hope you might be able to help and stop the problem from recurring. Many thanks for your help with this.

  • The bin men came around this morning and I asked them if it is possible to remove which they very kindly did. I wonder though if there is a way of stopping the dumping longer term as it seems to be recurring a lot.
