A big bike and smaller bike obstructing the pavement

Reported via mobile in the Highways Obstructions category anonymously at 00:49, Fri 29 April 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3490370.

The smaller bike attached to the lamp post makes it difficult for people to charge their electric cars to and it is next to a bigger trailer bike that is attached to the homeowner's front wall and takes up a large part of the pavement making it difficult for pushchairs, mobility aids, blind/poor sighted people etc. Outside 82 Glenarm road on the pavement for over a week.

  • The big bike is still blocking half of the pavement. I don't understand why it is there- are we now allowed to store our belongings on the pavement? We aren't allowed to keep our bins, flowerpots or motorbike outside our front gardens as it blocks the pavement?

  • The bike is always there blocking the pavement and 1 to 3 other bikes on the lamp post too. It's ridiculous and very selfish.
