Cars parked illegally blocking access to and from resident car park - Stone Studios
Reported via mobile in the Illegal Parking category anonymously at 22:01, Thu 28 April 2022
Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
This incident occurred outside the Stone Studios car park, on Wallis Road E9 5TF. On Match days the whole of Hackney Wick essentially turns into a huge car park for these supporters, who have no regard or care for their environment. There is rubbish strewn everywhere, broken glass everywhere. There are cars parked everywhere, on double yellows, blocking peoples drives. On this occasion, I was unable to get into my own car park. It’s absolutely ridiculous that I cannot get into my own car park that I pay through my nose for, or leave, because some imbecile is blocking the entry point. What’s even more frustrating is that there is a single yellow line painted outside the car park, which is your requirement as a council to change. What if someone needed to urgently get to hospital? That car blocking the driveway prevented me from getting in and my neighbours from getting out, who were unable to go to where they had planned and had to cancel!
