Clapton Common near Clapton Common Boys Club

Reported via mobile in the Littering category by Diana Catalina Grillo Aguilar at 14:16, Wed 13 April 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3457418.

I was doing a lovely walk and went passed the pond in Clapton Common near the Clapton Common Boys Club and it really upset me to see this amount of litter in this pond. There is wildlife animals and they are all surrounded by plastic. There are signs that encourage people not to drop rubbish otherwise they will get a fine of £50000, but clearly is not working and does not seem realistic. Is there anyone that could help me to clear this pond? I am happy to volunteer but It seems difficult to reach unless you go in the water or use special tongs.

I would like to get some help on this matter so we can give this animals a better place to be.
