Lights on 24/7

Reported via desktop by Jack Reay at 15:20, Tue 29 March 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3424343.

On December 16th and again on 27th February, I reported that the street lights around the ground floor of Chelsfield Point were illuminated for 24 hours per day. On both occasions I received a reply saying it had been reported to management. Today, over 3 months later, the lights are still on. A timer is fitted to control these lights. Surely it is an easy task for someone to switch the controls from "on" to "timer"? This is an appalling waste of electricity and ratepayers money, and, of course, is bad for the environment. PLEASE, PLEASE, Hackney council, get this sorted asap. Not dealing with a problem as simple as this makes you look inconsiderate and inept.
