Should the cycle lane be used going north? tarmac+ signs suggest not but cars aggressive abusive. Have also been told off using cycle lane going north- clarity please.

    Thank you for contacting Hackney Council regarding the cycle lane on West Bank.

    As West Bank is one-way northbound the cycle lane was implemented to improve safety conditions for cyclists travelling in a southbound direction.

    Cyclists travelling northbound are expected to flow along with the general traffic.
