Pavement is not accessible by wheelchair

Reported via mobile in the Highways Obstructions category anonymously at 15:40, Thursday 3 February 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

There is an old vehicle entrance point to Mabley Green along Homerton Road. This entrance or crossover does not have dropped kerbs and therefore making this side of the road unusable to wheelchair users.

  • Dear Resident,

Thank you for contacting Hackney Council regarding Mabley Green along Homerton Road dropped kerbs to assist people with disabilities.

My engineer will undertake a condition survey that will be added to the next package of works to assist people with disabilities throughout the borough.

However, please note that these works need to be prioritised due to a reduction in our budget for such works. We are therefore unfortunately unable to give you a timescale for these works at the moment.

    Regards,

    Neroshan Vijendran
