Huge commercial vehicles parked outside houses

Reported via desktop in the Illegal Parking category anonymously at 12:27, Wed 5 January 2022

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3217411.

Since before Christmas, a huge dirty-white van has been continuously parked outside my house, overflowing the last car parking space in the street at both ends and blocking the view from both my and my neighbour's front windows. Her tweenage grandson has admitted that it's his doing but he rudely refuses to park it elsewhere. He previously and intermittently parked other HGVs, including a car transporter (complete with expensive car) there for shorter periods before. The AA advise that "Parking rules in London mean that parking commercial vehicles in residential streets overnight is banned in boroughs across the city" and this gigantic van has been parked in this residential street, night and day, for nearly a fortnight. Surely this therefore isn't legal?
