People ignore the no entry sign constantly

Reported via mobile in the Highways Obstructions category anonymously at 13:28, Tue 28 December 2021

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 3201258.

As the title suggest, people are constantly ignoring the no entry sign at the start of olinda road and speeding past it in order to secure parking. Because there are no fines for ignoring the sign, people constantly do it.

  • Still happening. More and more cars ignore the no entry sign because it is not monitored or enforced.

  • Your Enforcement team has been made aware and will review the location for further action. We are investigating and considering the possibility of installing a fixed camera at this location. Fixed cameras are currently in high demand due to the increased number of traffic filters and can take a long time to install so I can't promise that they will install one at Olinda Road in the near future but the location will receive the attention and consideration it deserves.

    State changed to: Fixed
