This lovely tree has been planted in our estate garden which is only accesable by residents. Please remove the wire mesh and watering tunnel - it is not necersary. We have planted trees here and we look after them. It just doesn't look nice and serves no purpose.

Cages are installed on young trees planted within housing estates due to the high frequency of dog damage occurring to young trees across hackney, on estate land. I appreciate the cage is unsightly and this is an enclosed space, however the cage is still serving an important purpose and until the tree reaches a size where the cage is too small and causing a problem it will remain on the tree.

Such a shame you make this generalised statement anonymously. You have ignored the particulars in my report. The only dog out there is my puppy. What damage can she do, if I allowed it? I water the plants, I tend to the cleaning, along with our lovley cleaner. We discuss the garden, we, the tenants, have planted our own tree and plan more. You have such a dated view of estate gardens. Come aand look at ours, you will understand why your comments are irrelivent and even insulting.
