Illegally Parked Car Blocking Estate Car Park Access
Reported via desktop in the Illegal Parking category anonymously at 20:19, Tue 14 December 2021
Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
Since early November the driver of this car has repeatedly parked illegally (on double yellow lines) outside the only access point to the estate car park located at the end of Shaftesbury Street - outside Block 1-18. The car parked and left from around 7pm until the next morning. By blocking the large metal gate from opening it has prevented all residents and emergency vehicles from accessing the car park. Friendly notice has previously been left on the windscreen requesting the driver to please not park their car there, and the notice has explained how such an action has prevented access to other residents, however the owner has chosen to ignore this notice and therefore has continually shown complete disregard to other residents.
