Redact

There is a five foot wall running half the length of Kings Crescent N4 which is in danger of collapsing. Bricks and rubble are loose and already falling off. It was reported to Hackney Council over one year ago but nothing has been done. The pavement is used everyday by school children and mothers with baby buggies. If the council does not act soon to rectify this problem it is in danger of causing serious injury or worse.

Updates

  • the council acknowledged my complaint and said they would take action. Hilariously someone has broken some of the branches but they are still blocking the pathway. Nothing has been done about the crumbling wall, the council said they would inspect it as a matter or urgency, maybe they deem it safe, it would be nice to know.
