Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
We inserted £4 into the machine at approximately 12.35pm on 09/09/13, and the machine failed to give us a parking print, thereby swallowing our money. We later paid via telephone through myringgo.com (registration number: LS57AZD) quoting zone 79746, for a one hour parking permit (from 12.42pm-13.42pm). Please can we have your £4 refunded back to us.
I previously reported on 9 September 2021, that we inserted £4 cash into the parking metre located on Queensdown Road E5, and the machine swallowed our cash without providing a ticket (see proof of reference attached). I have not heard back yet from Hackney Council with regards to issuing us a refund, and therefore took the opportunity to phone today in order to chase this matter. As I was standing outside the parking machine in conversation with the the Hackney Council staff member, an elderly gentleman interrupted my phone call to report that he too has experienced the same issues for the past two months, and has many times reported it to parking enforcements officers, but nothing has been done about it. I am therefore taking the opportunity to highlight this as an issue of urgency, as it's unacceptable to allow this machine to be open to use, and request that i am refunded £4 ASAP. For your reference, please see the documents attached to this email.
