Overgrown Green Verges and Hedges, Uprooted paving

Reported via desktop in the Hedge Pruning category anonymously at 16:26, Mon 12 July 2021

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

Hello, The green verges on Mt. Pleasant Lane have a variety of lovely shrubs and plants but are not currently being maintained by Moreton Close or by the council. They are full of weeds, overgrown, growing into the pavement causing an obstruction and need to be tended to. The uneven paving needs attention also as it is a tripping hazard. When public spaces are abandoned and disregarded in this way it encourages flytipping and litter in the area. I have never seen the streets beng swept in this location when in my last flat (in Stoke Newington) I knew street sweepers to say hi to as they swept the streets daily. It is unfair that more affluent areas get more attention from the council when everyone pays council tax.

Many Thanks!
