Aggressive cyclists + scooters, running into pedestrians (aged, children)
Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:49, Tue 18 May 2021
Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2733031.
There is a constant flow of aggressive cyclists and people on scooters using this pedestrian pavement (in front of The Keith Miller Sports Pitch) who show no regard or care for pedestrians of all ages.
These aggressive individuals often cuss, harass and intimidate pedestrians who use the path as a means to access the NHS Surgery, shops, and walkways provided by Broadway Market.
This is an ongoing safety issue that has been reported, yet eschewed by the Council. Please provide some feedback and a practical solution.
Thank you.

I was just harassed by an aggressive cyclist who cursed me because I asked him to be careful.

All this week (21-28 May 2022) there has been a heavy flow of fast scooters riding up/down this pedestrian path. A couple of scooters almost hit a few older pedestrians.
It's becoming quite dangerous.

It continues again today. Multiple loud, aggressive motorcycles using the pavement as a road to shortcut their way from Pownall Road to Duncan Road and Sheep Lane.

Another day... and the scooters for food delivery are riding aggressively on this pavement. Surely this is a safety issue that needs to be addressed?

This morning I witnessed a VERY AGGRESSIVE and large scooter rider go very fast on this pavement and had to swerve to miss hitting a Mother and her small child. This pavement continues to be a dangerous place to walk.
