Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
Yet again the Petchey Academy has hired out its car park to a film crew who, on Monday 10th night, caused massive noise. Shouting, banging of steel erections and then a roar of a generator. Finally I got them to shut down the generator at midnight. Yesterday they moved the generator further away and quietened it. This problem of noisy film crews showing zero respect for residents has gone on long enough.
Before the pandemic there was a lot of noisy filming on the other side of the Petchey Academy. I got in touch with them. I got the conditions that Hackney Council film licensing unit gives film crew, i.e., rules that film crews are ok to abide by. The Petchey Academy was going to write some guidelines. I followed this up a few times but they never completed such guidelines. They don't seem to care about their neighbours when surely it would be better for them and the film crews if their neighbours were also respected.

Now it is Wednesday night. The generator has been changed for a quieter one and it is parked further away. All evening we have had roaring engines and yelling voices which reached a crescendo at 11.00pm as the car park contained two coaches and some thirty cars and mini-buses. The coaches had their noisy engines running. Gradually between 11.00 and 11.30 pm the two coaches ground slowly away and then all of the other vehicles slammed doors, started engines and drove off along with all the 'See you tomorrow' yellings.
