TfL Emergency Access Road

Reported via desktop in the Illegal Parking category anonymously at 16:12, Monday 12 April 2021

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later

At 2 and 4 Boleyn Road (Dalston Curve Cadence development) there is a short road between the door to 4 Boleyn Road and the London Overground Bridge. This allows access to properties at the rear and would allow TFL and Emergency Services to access the railway line and surrounding buildings in an emergency.

However, cars commonly park in this road so residents of 2&4 Dalston Cadence cannot access the bike lock room, residents of adjoining buildings struggle to access their properties and TFL and Emergency Services would be unable to access the railway or the surrounding buildings.

Measures should be taken to prevent the physical access to this road for illegal parking.
