Heavy traffic. Pollution. Noise.

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 2630761.
Since the new cpz hours of 10-12 have come into implementation and as the parking restrictions have reduced, the inflow of traffic now piles up on this stretch of Lampard Grove as there are now fewer bays for people to give way. We are situated at the front of the house with children in the house. The horns and the noise of cars accelerating to not give way, and the constant cursing from frustrated drivers who fall into the bottle necks is very disconcerting. Many of us in this house are working from home, attending online classes, sitting exams, and trying to put babies to sleep. It's truly become horrific. Very stressful as I've actually needed to take time off from work today. Cpz needs to come back into play from 8:30 to 18:30 minimum. This part of Lampard Grove needs to become one way, as the local school buses are truly not helping at all when it comes to traffic issues on the road. We have at least 10 altercations per day between drivers and the minibus drivers. Absolutely chaos here now.

The noise here is absolutely awful at times. Disgruntled drivers unleashing their frustration on their horn is rampant. Nobody 'gives way' to one another. No sense of courtesy by any of the drivers. Its a narrow road. Why not give way where possible? Heavy traffic areas are weekdays between 8:20 - 9:10 am and again from 15:00 – 17:00. Tuesday and Thursdays between 20:00 - 00:00. Hackney council, I implore you, please do something about this. This is unhealthy both physically and mentally. elderly folks and, and small children both living in rooms adjacent to the road.
