Deteriorated Road Surface causing house vibrations

Sent to Hackney Council less than a minute later
We moved into our house on Lordship Road a year ago and immediately became aware of the house shaking every time a bus or large vehicle goes past the house and hits a number of sections of worn out bumpy road surface and in the past year it is getting alarmingly worse. We have several large cracks appearing internally throughout the house and the entire building shakes and bangs as the sound waves travel through the building from the foundations and out the back where our bedrooms are located. Buses seem to be the worst offenders but vehicles such as large vans traveling at speed also ricochet throughout the house and speeding is a huge problem along this road so the vibrations are near constant throughout the day and evening with some easing around 10pm. We have spoken to other residents along the road who can confirm the vibrations are worsening.
We met with Peter from the council who came to survey the damage on the road and was able to organise a patch repair of the road surface. It has done absolutely nothing. The vibrations are getting worse and the house and neighbouring houses are now shaking throughout the night as well as the whole day. In addition we have learnt that due to the LTN restrictions in surrounding areas our road is predicted to be receiving a higher volume of traffic. This road needs resurfacing urgently!
